Art Education at Paramount Study fosters the cultivation of imagination, the exploration of personal style, and the expression of emotions through artistic endeavors. We champion diversity in art forms, aiming not only to impart formal and technical skills but also to nurture creative thinking across various skill levels and age groups through meticulously tailored courses.
Our curriculum emphasizes hands-on experience with an array of materials including pencil, gouache, watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastel, and ink. Additionally, we offer opportunities for deeper engagement with art history and appreciation for advanced students.
Engagement in projects such as postcard design, participation in international art exhibitions and competitions, and involvement in book publishing has significantly bolstered students’ confidence in undertaking long-term endeavors. These experiences instill the value of dedicated effort and impart essential time management skills.
Paramount Study offers a broad spectrum of art classes, spanning from studio arts and multimedia design to performance arts, providing a comprehensive platform for artistic exploration and growth. Our commitment to excellence in curriculum and teaching methodologies has earned recognition from both peers and students alike.
Our Philosophy
Does your child exhibit artistic ability?
Place them in an environment dedicated to teaching young people the fundamental elements of art.
Our philosophy begins with a sound approach to understanding composition. By teaching students fundamental concepts and elements like balance, depth, variety, perspective, value line and unity, they will begin to understand the process and components that go towards creating a strong work of art.
Students learn the importance of creating a “center of interest” and how it relates to the other areas of their picture plane. How do we captivate and hold the viewer’s attention by using contrast, while establishing unity throughout the composition?
Don’t underestimate a child’s ability to understand the fundamentals. These fundamental concepts are usually taught at a higher level of learning. Paramount study believes the sooner a student understands the basic fundamental concepts, the more prepared they will be to take one more challenging artistic ideas later in life, with greater execution and more satisfying results.
Along with understanding composition, our goal over time is for our students to begin to develop a style that will later distinguish himself or herself from other artist. The sooner a student begins the greater chance this will happen at an earlier age.
