Photography & Video Production Summer Program

At this camp, students don’t just “play with phones to shoot videos”—they learn to tell powerful stories through the lens. They will experience the entire creative journey, from the initial spark of an idea to the final cut. By thinking like a director, students will boost their communication skills, self-confidence, and creative problem-solving.

  • 5-Day Challenge: Complete an original short film from scratch.

5-Day Curriculum

  • Day 1: Photography Essentials & Photo Scavenger Hunt Learn what makes a “great shot” by mastering composition, lighting, and camera angles.

  • Day 2: The Language of Video Learn to shoot like a pro. Introduction to cinematic language (Wide shots, Close-ups, and Point-of-view).

  • Day 3: Storytelling & Storyboarding How to tell a compelling story: Building the narrative arc (Beginning, Conflict, and Resolution).

  • Day 4: Production Day! The most anticipated day! Students head out for on-site filming in their production groups.

  • Day 5: Post-Production & Editing The final touch: Learning to edit, add music, subtitles, and professional transitions.
