Programming has become a core job skill for the 21st century. Everyone in today’s society needs to interact with computers, so much so that computer skills have become a critical skill for all workers. Our team of professionals at this year’s camp have designed programming at various levels for students who want to learn or improve their skills.

Mathematics
Mathematics have always been an issue with Canadian students. Math is like a chain–a chink makes it weak. Likewise, many find it difficult to grasp advanced mathematical concepts because they struggle with the fundamentals. Our math courses focus on the individual’s needs such that our educators can determine the student’s problem. From there, the student begins to improve and finds it easier to accept new mathematical concepts. Our math programs are tailored to meet the requirements of the Quebec Ministry of Education. We offer math courses for all levels from primary to CEGEP.
For those who are looking to attain advanced knowledge in math, we also have Math Olympics courses that will help students acquire a deeper appreciation of how math shapes the world around us, as well as impart them the necessary skills in succeeding in all math competitions.
Math classes for grade 7-8, 9-10

Paramount Study is a testing center for the American Mathematics Competitions (AMC) and the Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC).
American Mathematics Competitions (AMC)
Organized by the Mathematical Association of America, AMC is one of the most prestigious math competition programs in North America.
- Designed for different grade levels: AMC 8 (middle school), AMC 10 and AMC 12 (high school)
- Multiple-choice format, focusing on problem-solving skills, logic, and speed
- High-performing students can advance to more selective competitions such as the AIME
- Ideal for students aiming to strengthen mathematical thinking and pursue competitive math pathways
- Each year, they organize the AMC 8, AMC 10, and AMC 12 math competitions.

CEMC (Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing) Competitions
Organized by the University of Waterloo, CEMC hosts some of Canada’s most recognized math contests.
- Popular contests include Pascal, Cayley, Fermat (for younger students), and Euclid (for senior students)
- Primarily short-answer and full-solution questions, emphasizing reasoning and clear mathematical communication
- Closely aligned with school curricula, but more challenging
- Highly regarded in Canada and beneficial for university applications
