New Book : The Chronicles of Donk

Written and illustrated by Edward Xu in collaboration with the Creative Arts Foundation of Canada, The Chronicles of Donk invites the reader to tumble down the rabbit (duck?) hole into the fantastical world of Honkia, a world where evil rats run amok and mischief-making turtles repeatedly and inexplicably break out of prison. Playfully irreverent, Xu takes an idea and runs with it like a quarterback with a football, not stopping until he touches down well across the endline, with a flourish and (most likely) a victory dance. The result is a work that will leave the reader delighted.
The latest book created by one of our student. Bob’s stories is a fruitful collaboration between young Yixiong Qin and his French and art tutor Kirill Fessenko. Writing books motivate the students to express their feelings and emotions through words and pictures, improving greatly their french level at the same time.
Good news : two new books were published ! With the help of our language teachers, Justin and Sumyau achieved their dreams and published their first book. Not only did they improve their English greatly, but they also turned their ideas into a great work of art. We hope that this work will inspire you to create, too !
