Photography and Writing Worskhop

Class Time:  Every Wednesday 5:00 PM–7:00 PM (In-person)，or Every Friday 7:00 PM–8:00 PM (Online)    
Course Dates: April 1st, 2026 to June 10th, 2026 (11 weeks total)
Age Group: 10–16 years old


Course Objectives

  • Learn to observe the world through the lens and express beauty
  • Practice writing to capture inner thoughts and everyday moments
  • Develop observation, expression, aesthetic sense, and creativity

Teaching Team

  • Photography Instructor: A professional photographic artist guiding students through hands-on practice, exploring light, composition, and storytelling through images
  • Writing Instructor: A bilingual (English-French) literature teacher helping students write reflections and stories in English (or English-Chinese)

Student Outcomes

  • Over 15 pieces of photo-based written work

  • 12 edited original photographs

  • A personal 2026 Photo Calendar to take home as a Christmas gift

  • A chance to participate in a final sharing session, building public speaking and presentation skills
