Guidance for National and International Students

• Advise students applying to elite North American colleges and universities.
• Extensively detail what top institutions desire from applicants.
• Help students understand admission standards and requirements.
• Clarify differences between institutions and regions.
• Guide students in understanding the North American or European higher education systems (differences between systems and countries; what to expect; how to prepare for challenges; etc.)
• Advise on preparing for graduate program applications.

 Application & Essay Support

• Help students write strong entrance essays and applications; instructing in how a certain academic style is required beyond a minimum standard of error-free writing.
• Provide assistance in navigating how to apply and meeting program requirements.
• Teach how to “show, not tell” and weave compelling personal narratives into explaining events that reveal impressive character without coming off as self-impressed or arrogant.
• Ensure proper English usage, formality, and proofreading.

 Interview Coaching

• Prepare students for interviews with elite institutions.
• Teach strategies to express confidence without bravado.
• Help identify what schools look for in interviews.
• Support students in crafting thoughtful answers and stories.
• Encourage self-reflection and clear expression of motivations.
• Provide anxiety-regulation tips and self-practice techniques.
